2024 First Training Program for Laboratory Directors of Ready-Mixed Concrete Enterprises Successfully Launched

In an effort to enhance the professional technical skills of laboratory directors in ready-mixed concrete enterprises and promote the healthy development of the concrete industry, the first session of the 2024 Training Program for Laboratory Directors of Ready-Mixed Concrete Enterprises was successfully inaugurated at the Concrete Engineering Technical Personnel Vocational Training Base (Jiangxi).

The training program is jointly organized by the China Concrete & Cement Products Association and the Jiangxi Bulk Cement and Ready-Mixed Concrete Association, and hosted by Jiangxi Building Materials Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiangxi Building Materials Institute). Ma Xueying, Director of the Vocational Education and Training Department of the China Concrete & Cement Products Association, stated that laboratory directors are pivotal in quality control of concrete, bearing the critical responsibility of ensuring concrete quality and engineering safety. Industry training is both significant and complex, requiring systematic planning and rigorous advancement to achieve success. As a co-building unit of the Concrete Engineering Technical Personnel Training Base, Jiangxi Building Materials Institute has accumulated extensive experience in talent cultivation in the concrete field and has remarkable achievements in industry personnel training, ensuring the success of this training program.

During the training session, several renowned industry experts disseminated information on the new national standards for general Portland cement, laboratory management specifications, and related standards and policies. They also provided insights into common issues in concrete production, solutions for concrete admixture adjustments, and knowledge on green concrete production.
